DIY: NEON PINK CHAIR

TOOLS YOU WILL NEED:
  1. AN OLD STOOL OR PIECE OF FURNITURE YOU WANT TO PAINT (THE ONE ABOVE IS FROM IKEA AND WILL ONLY COST YOU $14.99)
  2. GET A GOOD PAINT BRUSH OR ROLLER
  3. GET A FLAT TUB TO POUR YOUR PAINT IN TO
  4. GO TO YOUR LOCAL PAINT STORE TO FIND A REALLY BRIGHT PINK. IF YOU ARE IN AUSTRALIA YOU CAN TRY: PORTERS PAINTS CARNEVALE (YOU WILL ONLY NEED A SMALL POT)
  5. DEPENDING ON THE COLOUR OF YOUR PIECE OF FURNITURE, YOU MAY NEED TO DO A WHITE COAT OF PAINT UNDERNEATH.
HOW TO DO IT:
  1. PLACE YOUR ITEM ON SOME NEWSPAPER AND PAINT THE FIRST COAT IN WHITE (IF YOU NEED TO). LET IT DRY COMPLETELY.
  2. PAINT THE SECOND COAT IN THE BRIGHTEST PINK YOU CAN FIND
  3. LET IT DRY COMPLETELY.
  4. LAQUOR IT IF YOU LIKE OR LEAVE IT MATT. YOU CAN BUY CLEAR LAQUOR AT YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE. THIS CHAIR WAS LEFT MATT.
  5. TIP: MAKE SURE YOU USE A DURABLE HOUSE PAINT SO THAT IT STAYS ON THE FURNITURE.
