The other week while I was down in Sydney I visited Mr Cook, a boutique florist owned by Sean Cook (pictured above), who after spending the last 14 years at Sydney Institution Grandiflora has opened his own workshop in Double bay. After seeing images of his new shop and florals pop up online I decided I had to grab my camera and check it out for myself, and it was just beautiful.

Sean has very cleverly designed the space, using recycled old timber crates and containers with oregon timber benches throughout and a gorgeous steel spiral staircase leading up to the second floor. Sean's brand identity and super cool cards were designed by Small Medium Large, all together giving the space a really raw, upcycled and fresh vibe.

The shop is full to the brim with luscious greenery and the most stunning and unique flowers. Whether it be an understated bouquet of a single variety or a mixed arrangement of botanicals, the arrangements Sean comes up with are absolutely beautiful.
