I have been looking at holiday destinations and came across this gorgeous hotel. The Azucar hotel is situated in the Gulf of Mexico. It consists of 20 thatch roofed, whitewashed palapas, (bungalows) and each one comes with their own private, intimate terrace overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. I love the outdoor shower, it's so simple but just beautiful.

Each of the bungalows is named after a Veracruz sugar mill, and most of the wood in the resort is made from found driftwood. A locally made hammock stretches across every private patio.

With Easter holidays starting tomorrow I will hopefully be spending plenty of time in my own hammock! Happy Easter everyone.

You can check out Azucar's website here.
